Nakaseke Community Library received 20 e-readers from World Readers with a recommendation from Book Aid International and National Library of Uganda. The Digital readers are aimed to supplement the reading materials in the Center and to make rural far schools access reading materials to enhance literacy among children.
Since 2015 upon receiving the e-readers we have registered many children who visit the Library on a daily basis to use them. Children use the e-readers to do their holiday work and homework over the weekend.
Namboga Victoria in the middle is one of the regular visitor and each day she brings her friends to the Library. We are very proud of her. Shes says she wants to be a Doctor in future we pray that she keeps up to her hopes!
